      I am waiting for a bus at the bus stop. There is a telephone box (電話亭) nearby. I see a young man get into the telephone box. Suddenly,he comes out and walks over to me.

     “Good afternoon,sir." he says ,“When was George Washington bom,do you know?”      “ Is he OK? There must be something wrong with him ,” I think.

     “Can you tell me when George Washington was bom?” the young man asks me again. Now I can see that he is not joking,so I think a minute and tell him that George Washington was bom in 1732.

     “Oh,thank you very much." He walks into the telephone box again.

      A few minutes later,he comes out happily. He thanks me again and says ,“I want to make a telephone call to my friend,but I forget the telephone number. You help me to remember (想起) it. You see,my friend's telephone number is 173232,and it can be easily remember if you know when the great man was bom."
