When a leader visits another country, he or she sometimes goes to the country's

most famous places. It is to show respect to the local culture. For the leaders, it's also a good time to relax during a tiring foreign trip.

Barack Obama, US President , had a four-day visit to China a few months ago. He had a very busy schedule (日程). But he still spent some time visiting the Forbidden City and the Great Wall.      What do 17-year-old boys usually do ? Play computer games, read books or play basketball? But to
Zac , all interests in   his  life are from the sea. He is a 17-year-old  US  sailor.   After  a   hard 13-month
voyage, he and his 11-metre sailboat arrived at a Southern California harbour. He becomes the youngest
person to sail around the world alone.  
     When Zac was just a child, he had a dream-driving his own boat to travel around the world . so he
saved all his pocket money . When he was 16 years old, he had 6,500 dollars. He bought a sailboat, and
started his journey with the support of his father, a ship builder.
     On June 14, 2008, Zac left Marin Del Rey, south of Los Angeles, and celebrated his 17th birthday at
sea near Africa's Cape of Good Hope.
     During his 28,000-mile journey , he came over many difficulties. When he came back home , he was
welcomed by a lot of people. It is said fewer than  250 People  have sailed around the world alone. The
number of reaching the top of Mount Everest is three  times as large  as the number of sailing around the
world alone.

     Many People have to work on the weekend. Some people do not mind. Other people think it is
terrible.One man thinks that working on the weekend can be dangerous. He is Graham Coates. Mr
Coates worked in an office in Brighton , England.
    On Saturday, May 24 , 1986 , he went to the office to do some work. When he got in the elevator to
go home, it stopped between floors. Mr Coates could not get out of the elevator. He was trapped
(困住了)! He started to shout,but no one heard him. Then Mr Coates remembered  that it was a holiday
in England. No one was going to come to work until Tuesday !
