My friend Nick told me story about his experience back in the US, which was very interested. One day he was having a yard sale and the old man living next door come by to help. On the box was a card say, “25 cents each.” “You will never sell these for that much.” he told Nick. Convinced, Nick has brought the price up to 10 cents a piece. There are different train ticket for people to choose from when traveled by train. They may want to buy a single ticket and a return ticket. A single ticket allows them enjoy more freedom at their destination while a return one not only is cheaper but also save them the trouble of buying the ticket when they decide to return. Some people prefer hard seats to soft one. Young people like to have hard seats because enjoy the company of other passengers is what they need during a journey. Businessmen would not like to have soft seats. They want to have a good rest. When they get off the train, they were still energetic and can rapid go on to do their jobs.

I used to be a very self-centered person, but in the past two years I really changed. I have started to think about other people after I think about myself. I am happy that I am becoming the different person.
I think my change started when I was at Palomar College. At first, I just want to get my degree and be left alone. I thought I was smarter than everyone else, so I hardly ever talked to anyone in my classes. By the end of my first semester, I was really lonely. That seemed as if everyone besides me had made friend and was having fun. So I tried an experiment. I started asking people around me how they were doing, and whether they were having trouble, I offered to help. That was real a big step for me. By the end of the year, I had several new friends, two of them are still my best friends today.
