When I opened the first "Body Shop" in 1976,what I wanted to do was to m 1 enough money to feed my children. Today " Body Shop" is a great company growing fast all around the world. In the years since we began,I have 1 2 a lot. Much of what I have learned will be found in this book,because I believe that we,as a company,have something worth saying about how to r 3 a successful business without g 4 up what you really believe in.

It's not an o 5 business book. It is not just about my life,e 6 . The message is that to succeed in business you have to be different. Business can be fun,a business can be run with love and it can do well. In business,as in life,I n 7 to enjoy myself,to have a feeling of my family and to feel e 8 by something unusual. I have always wanted the people who work for "Body Shop" to f 9 the same way.

The big Town Hall clock was striking midnight when Frank began to cross the bridge. The dark night air was cold and slightly wet,and the street lamps gave little light.
